What is
Vino Matto
Night?

Six Italian natural wines. Six kitchen pairings. One evening that starts with Prosecco and ends with Tiramisu and a bottle you'll remember long after the night is over.
This isn't a lecture. It's a proper evening out — the kind where you arrive a stranger and leave with a table of new friends and a working knowledge of natural winemaking in Italy. Guided by our head sommelier Marco, who has spent fifteen years sourcing from small-production vineyards across the country.

What to Expect

più di una semplice degustazione
An evening structured around curiosity. Each wine gets the time it deserves — where it comes from, why it tastes the way it does, and what food makes it sing. Nothing rushed, nothing formal.
01

Welcome & Aperitivo

Six Natural Wines

Three whites and three reds from small Italian producers. Each one chosen because it has a story worth telling and a flavour worth remembering.
Guided Tasting

Kitchen Pairings

Six dishes from our kitchen, each designed to draw something different out of the wine it's paired with. Proper food, not canapés.

Your Host

Marco
Rossi

Head Sommelier · MATTO
Marco has been working with Italian wine for fifteen years, spending the majority of that time travelling to vineyards across the country — from the volcanic slopes of Etna to the clay soils of Barolo. He knows the producers he pours by name.

His approach to hosting a tasting is the same as his approach to
choosing wine: no nonsense, no performance, just genuine
curiosity and a deep respect for what's in the glass.
"Wine should make you want to eat. Food should make you want to drink. That's really all there is to it."
